On October 4, The Princeton Child Development is hosting a golf tournament at the Peddie golf course to benefit the school. I am proud to be a sponsor of that event.
The Princeton Child Development Institute is a non-profit organization for individuals with autism. My brother, Jared, has attended the school since he was three years old. He is currently 37 years old and lives at one of their two group homes. My family was originally from Illinois but moved to New Jersey so Jared could attend PCDI as there were no schools for individuals with autism in Illinois in 1987. Without PCDI, my brother would have been institutionalized. Because of PCDI, my brother has language skills, is employed at L’Oreal, and is a great uncle to his two nieces.
The golf event itself is being held at the Peddie Golf Club. Lunch and registration begins at 11:30am, Shotgun start at 1 p.m, followed by dinner and awards at 5:30pm. There is still time to register or sponsor part of the event. It is always a great time supporting a great cause.
